Registered and presented full papers will be included in the ICADP 2027 digital conference proceedings and submitted to major citation databases (including, but not limited to Ei Compendex and Scopus) for review and indexing.
This special session will focus on multi-sensor fusion techniques for robust environmental perception in autonomous driving. Participants will discuss the integration of data from LiDAR, radar, cameras, and ultrasonic sensors to achieve reliable object detection, tracking, and scene understanding under various weather and lighting conditions. The session will also explore emerging approaches such as deep learning-based fusion, calibration strategies, and real-time implementation challenges.

This special session will explore end-to-end learning-based approaches that map raw sensor inputs directly to vehicle control commands. Participants will discuss advances in imitation learning, reinforcement learning, and behavior cloning, as well as the interpretability and safety challenges of black-box models. The session will also cover the latest developments in neural network architectures, simulation-to-real transfer, and data-efficient training for autonomous driving.

This special session will examine the deployment of artificial intelligence algorithms on resource-constrained edge devices for autonomous vehicles. Participants will discuss model compression, quantization, hardware acceleration, and energy-efficient inference for real-time perception and decision-making. The session will also highlight the trade-offs between accuracy, latency, and power consumption in embedded autonomous systems.

This special session will address the challenges of motion planning and decision-making in dynamic, uncertain, and interactive environments. Participants will discuss prediction of other road users' intentions, game-theoretic planning, and risk-aware navigation. The session will also explore the integration of rule-based and learning-based approaches, as well as safety guarantees and validation strategies for urban and highway driving.
